The vehicle of a missing woman has been found near where she was last seen before disappearing.
Tayla Spies’s Toyota Hilux was last seen at an intersection in Surat in Western Downs of Queensland, west of Brisbane, on February 2.
More than two months later, the police have located the 29 -year -old UTE in Noorindoo about 40 km north of Surat.
Police were called to a property of the Yuleba-Surat road around 3pm on Thursday after the reports of a white Toyota Hilux vehicle that coincides with the SRA vehicle.
“The detectives have confirmed that the vehicle is from Tayla after locating the property in the vehicle that belongs to the missing person,” police said in a statement on Friday.
An initial search for the surrounding area has not been able to locate Mrs. Spies and the Police will continue to search the area on Friday.
His disappearance in February caused a generalized search that covers 9000sq km, and his family issued a sincere plea for information.
“The pain and enormity of their absence increase with each day that passes and the concern is consuming us all,” said his sister Rebecca Spies in a statement in February.
“My sister Tayla is fun, brave, reflective and is always there for people when they need it.”
Tayla Spies is described as caucasic with brown shoulder hair, blue eyes, thin construction and about 170 cm high. She has the word karma tattooed in her chest.
