A woman died and 10 people were hospitalized after an accident of three vehicles in the southeast of Queensland during the night.
Police say that around 9.40 pm, an Imex and Honda Odyssey were parked on the right lane shoulder in arterial gympie Road in Bald Hills, in northern Brisbane, when a Toyota Hiace Van collided against vehicles from behind.
The woman, who was in the Honda Odyssey, died on the scene.
Ten people were taken to the hospital to receive treatment for various injuries.
Of them, three men are fighting for their lives.
One has head and leg injuries, one suffered head and limb injuries, while another man was also taken to the hospital with injuries that threaten life.
The other seven injured, four women and three men, were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Arterial gympie Road was closed for four hours, but it was reopened early today.
Police forensic accident investigators continue to investigate.
