Woman, 23, fighting for live after car allegedly doing burnouts crashes into parked ute

A woman is fighting for her life in the hospital after the car in which she was traveling crashed Sydney’s southwest.

The driver, supposedly drunk and exhausting before the collision, crashed into a notoriously dangerous street in Bankstown.

The fish car was placed in a parked ute and the neighbors rushed to the scene before the paramedics arrived.

The firefighters took the driver, a 26 -year -old man and his 23 -year -old passenger, from the car.

The man escaped with minor injuries, but his passenger was not so lucky.

He was left with critical head injuries and remains in intensive care in the Liverpool hospital.

The driver allegedly failed a breath test on the road and was taken to the hospital, where he remains under the police guard, to obtain more evidence and treatment for a fractured clavicle.

The neighbors said the street was known by Hooning and have begged the Council to put measures instead to stop cars.
