Canadian doctors cannot practice medicine between provinces without cumbersome permit requirements and government traditional tape festivals.
This is one of many provincial trade barriers due to the threat of U.S. tariffs.
The Canadian Medical Association said it was time to eliminate this outdated way to license doctors and make it a national system covering all provinces and territories.
