That’s what we know.
What is automatic startup?
According to the Autostart Company, Autostart is a mobile phone that is used to copy signatures and short notes.
The company said on its page that it was described as “for the world’s most influential leaders, enabling them to apply their time and attention more effectively to important issues without compromising the impact of personalized letters.”
These machines can be used to “sign” all kinds of items, from books to sports equipment and of course paper.
Has the president used auto-start before?
Yes, most notably, former President Barack Obama directed employees to use the automatic open signing bill when traveling in Europe in 2011. Congress approved the legislation at the last minute, but there was not enough time to send the documents to France until its power expired. It is reported that this is the first time that the bill is signed using automatic start, but not the first time that the president has used automatic start in place of a handwritten signature.
From 1801 to 1809, Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States, dates back hundreds of years, using machines that mimic modern automatic startup called lie detectors. According to the American Philosophical Society, he used the machine to “repeat letters for his personal records.”

What are the unproven claims about Biden?

Trump’s comments were published after allegations from the Oversight Project, The Heritage Foundation, the think tank behind the 2025 project in Washington, D.C. In a post on X on March 6, the group said it collected documents signed with Biden during the presidential period and found that “everyone used the same automatic signature announcement, but the former president announced the former president’s contest last year, which was announced.”
The allegations of Biden’s oversight program have not been independently verified.
If Biden allegedly uses automatic opening volumes, is the pardon really “ineffective”?
No, using autostart will not invalidate the pardon.
The 2005 memorandum comment from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel said that the president “does not have to personally enforce the bill he approved and decide on the physical behavior of the signed signature to make the bill legal.” It said the president “could likely sign a bill … by directing subordinates to affix the president’s signature to such a bill, such as by automatic release.”

The legal study was commissioned by former President George W. Bush, who, despite being ABC News, never used automatic opening.
According to reports from the U.S. Constitution, Hill and NBC News reported that the subsequent president could revoke the pardon for any reason.
The overview of the power of pardon in the Constitution “establishes the power of the president to grant forgiveness, covering not only individual pardons, but also several other forms of criminal punishment.”
It does not mention the use of automatic opening.
