Melbourne’s victory has closed when sealing a place between the first two of the A-League and staying in dispute for the Premier League after twice Nickletta Flannery delivered a 2-1 victory over Adelaide United Adelaide of third place.
The victory (44 points) remains firmly in the search for Alw’s Premier League after drawing within two points of the leaders Melbourne City (46) and five free from Adelaide (39).
