Vancouver Art Gallery parts ways with CEO Anthony Kiendl


In January, Kiendl and VAG board chairman Jon Stovell announced that the gallery would seek a simpler and cheaper new home, inviting 14 Canadian architecture firms to apply to design a new gallery. The design of the previous building was created by Swiss architect Herzog & de Meuron and unveiled in 2015, the five years Kiendl has come to VAG.
