Two students hospitalised after being hit by car outside school


The school students have been hospitalized after they were run over by a car in Canberra.

According to the police, a Holden Commodore green truck hit St Edmund’s university students near their school in Canberra Avenue in Griffith this morning.

The children, 14 and 15, were taken to the hospital in a serious condition.

The same car continued along the road before colliding against other cars and stopping near Manuka stores.

The driver was taken to the hospital and is under police guard.

The road sections remain closed while the police investigate the incident.
