Sohi’s official campaign marks his return to federal politics. He served as a member of Congress from 2015 to 2019, representing Edmonton Mill Woods.
Sohi said in a previous interview with Postmedia that he saw the future on the Federal Liberal Party and said his main focus would be southeast Edmonton.
“Every candidate will work hard and put forward the vision that Prime Minister Carney has articulated. The economy has to work for people and I want to be part of a government focused on building an economy that works for ordinary people,” Sohi said.

Rod Loyola is launching his campaign to become a liberal of Edmonton Gateway, who served as the Alberta NDP MLA at the event on 6941 Ellerslie Road SW Loyola, and then announced his intention to play his role in the federal media from March 26, on March 26.
