Four people were arrested after an attack on two Auckland central apartments that were found full of stolen items, with more than 80 items recovered, police said.
The two apartments were in the same complex as Hobson Street and were searched on Wednesday morning, said the inspector of the central area of Auckland Grant Tetzlaff.
The items found included electronics, tools and an electric scooter collection.
The attack was the result of an investigation into a series of companies and apartments in the city that occurred last month, Tetzlaff said.
“Within our teams they came across an Aladdin stolen property cave and will take some time to work where everything came from.”
The four arrested people were found in the apartments. They include two men, 28 and 36 years old; and two women, 35 and 41 years old.
Tetzlaff said the accusations made are related to two robberies in March, one in a Wellesley Street business and one in a Union Street apartment.
However, some of the electrical tools found in the search warrants were connected to a North Shore 2019 theft, he said.
Police said they found 13 electric scooters stolen in search of both apartments.

The 41-year-old woman and the 28-year-old man face two charges of theft, while the 28-year-old man was also charged with an electric-reassured-aged assault on an incident in January.
The 36 -year -old man and the 35 -year -old woman were accused of receiving stolen goods.
All four must attend the Auckland District Court.
“Theft is a serious offense and brings with it a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison,” said Tetzlaff.
“The team that works at Operation Rocket continues with their questions and other accusations cannot be discarded at this stage.”
