President Donald Trump has ceased defense of the US Secret Service for former President Joe Biden.
Trump made a message on his conservative social media platform on Monday night.
Earlier on Monday, while traveling the Kennedy Center in Washington, Colombia County, Trump was asked by a security detail reporter appointed to Hunter Biden while he was resting in South Africa.
“This will be something I will look at this afternoon. Okay. I just heard about it for the first time,” Trump replied. His true social publication came hours after the exchange.
Shortly after taking office, Trump canceled the defense of the secret service for John Bolton, Mike Pompeo and Mark Milli, despite threats against their lives from Iran because of their work in Trump’s first administration. He also removed the security workpiece appointed to D -R Anthony Facuchi, who faced threats to the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic.
“When you have protection, you cannot have it for the rest of your life,” Trump told reporters at the time.
Presidents, vice presidents and their families receive the secret services throughout their time of service.

Former presidents and their spouses can retain their details for the rest of their lives after leaving office, unless they decide to refuse him. Federal law also provides security for the children of former presidents up to the age of 16, although leaving presidents can expand it. Hunter Biden is 55 and Ashley Biden is 43.
When Trump left his post after the 2020 election, his four elderly children and their two spouses received a secret service protection for an additional six months.
Before leaving office, Joe Biden issued a controversial pardon for his son for tax evasion and federal weapons accusations. ABC News has recently announced that Hunter Biden is now in debt and without a permanent home, according to court documents.
Plus, Hunter Biden continues to be targeted by Republican attacks, including criticism from Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
