Truck engulfed in flames, one driver dead after two truck crash in Sydney’s south west

A person died after a serious accident of two trucks near Campbelltown in southwest Sydney.

The NSW police were called to the scene around 6.30 am, after reports of a serious collision in South direction in Hum Highway, Blair Athol.

A truck lit and was wrapped in flames when emergency services arrived.

The travelers captured images of confrontation of the root flames when they passed the truck this morning.

The NSW Fire and Rescue officers attended and extinguished the fire.

A driver died on the scene, NSW police reported this morning.

The controller has not yet been formally identified.

A second driver was treated in the scene by the paramedics of the NSW ambulance for “various injuries.” The driver was taken to the hospital.

A crime scene has been established in the collision scene and the officers of the CRASH investigation unit have begun consultations.

All lanes to the south of the Hume Hujista have been closed in Blair Athol, near Campbelltown, and traffic has been diverted.

Local roads are being affected and drivers are urged to visit the NSW live traffic Website for more information.
