Tony’s Chocolonely issues urgent Easter egg warning over fears they could contain metal shards

A firm has remembered groups of their milk chocolate and caramel salt paslier products about the fear that they may contain metal fragments.

Tony’s Chocolonely remembered his 242g hollow Easter egg products with the best before date of June 2025.

The products in question have the specific codes 8720701144163 and 8720701144187.

Tony’s Chocolonely said: ‘If you have purchased the above products with the fate codes in question, please do not consume and reproduce the product to the purchase store for repayment.

“The rest of the Easter, including all its small eggs and other products, is safe to consume.”

It comes a day after Tony’s chocolate recalled two chocolate bars – his 180 g Dark Almandel Sea salt and its 180g everything bar – overcome that the products could contain small stones.

The affected sea salt rods have the best before dates of 28 February 2026, 2 April 2026 and 22 April 2026.

The Everything Bars had the best before dates of November 26, 2025, November 27, 2025 and 28 November 2025.
