Emergency services were called to rural property, near Nagambie, 160 kilometers from Melbourne, around 10 am
The two -year -old girl was found without responding to the dam and doctors tried to save her with CPR.
“Unfortunately, the baby could not be revived and died in the place,” said a Victoria police spokesman.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
