Three people killed in a fire in Northamptonshire were nominated by police.

Emma Conn, 30, her four-year-old daughter Mayci Fox, and 23-year-old Louie Thorn died in Rushton on Friday night.

One person was also taken to the fire to the hospital and three officers were assessed after sustaining smoke inhalation.

Ruby Burrow, detective chief inspector, said: “Our team worked on this investigation and after a strict investigation into the available information, we do not believe that there is any evidence of criminal offenses at this point.”

Trains between London St Pancras and Corby, Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield were disrupted on Saturday due to fire damage to a railway line.
