The slow pace kicked off the team’s game against the Kitchener-Waterloo Titans, and Express once again found itself facing a double-digit deficit earlier on Sunday.
“It’s a must-have victory,” said quick head coach Bill Jones. “On the board (in the locker room), I put nothing.

The fast rally led the three-pointer in the final quarter and beat the Titans 106-98 before having a crowd of 1,721 people in the WFCU Center.
With it, Express made the Basketball Super League best semifinal with a 1-1 result. Game 3 is Friday in Kitchener.
“Just knowing we’re fighting,” said Rapid Guard Latin Davis. “Sometimes we’re back before we were 20 years old.
There is certainly no hope for Express, who saw the Titans scored the first 7 points and entered the second quarter with a 10-point lead.
“We will never lack confidence,” Express Center Sam Muldrow said. “We just need the team’s energy, the team’s efforts.”
In the second half, the deficit rose to 18 points a little in the second half, lowering it to 11 points at a quick break, but it was Windsor finally found the third quarter of the game, and muldrow played a big role.

He hit two back-to-back threes and scored four 3s in the game.
“Just shooting confidently,” said Mudro, the Six-foot-9. He scored 13 points. “It’s part of my game. It’s a big part (Sunday). It fell so I’ve been shooting.”
Muldrow returned from a two-game league pause, which made Windsor’s roster more balanced and prevented Jones from exaggerating Vincent Boumann.
“It’s very hard to sit down and watch my team play and not be able to help,” said the 36-year-old Muldrow. “I’m so happy to be back and help my team win.”
Jones continues to push his players to continue playing despite a lot of deficits.
“Players play, that’s it,” Jones said. “In some of our hud shrinks, they caught it. Our captain Latins were able to give speeches, and we could prevail.”
Davis led Express with 21 points as all five starters finished in double-digit results, Boumann scored 16 points, Cameron Gaines scored another 13 points, Jaire Gayer and Mike Bruce and Mike Bruce scored 11 points respectively. Muldrow contributed 11 points on the bench and Markus Golden scored 10 points.
