The Masters 2025 LIVE: Tee times for Round 1 and tips as Rory McIlroy eyes green jacket at Augusta

The four-year-old daughter of Rory McIlroy showed her father how to rejoice by rejoicing in the Augusta-National crowd with a monster Putt on the eve of the Masters.

“Yes, very cool,” McIlroy said when asked about the moment. “It’s just a good afternoon. Being with Shane (Lowry) and Tommy (Fleetwood) and their families there, we are all very, very close to each other, so having the kids out there and having fun is the most important thing.

‘This is a very pleasant way to terminate the preparation in what is the serious part of the week. So it’s nice to get out of here and do it. ‘

The players are getting ready for the opening day of the 2025 Masters, with the first tea turning a little less than three hours away.

The Masters are returning this week, as the first major of the 2025 season begins Thursday at Augusta National in Georgia, USA.

Scottie Scheffler intends to defend the title he won in 2024 with 11-under-par over the four rounds and four shots in front of Sweden’s Ludvig Aberg.

Scheffler lighted out of a particularly difficult week for the rest of the field with the United States Max Homa and Collin Morikawa, which are tied with the English Tommy Fleetwood, four under the England.

Rory McIlroy, who comes in the first major of the season with a strong start of the year, ends in a 22nd draw in 2024 and will hope to perform better this time while aiming to complete a golf slam.

Cabrera spent a total of 30 months behind bars in Brazil and Argentina after being convicted of domestic abuse charges. He was sentenced to two years in prison in July 2021 for the assault, threat and harassment of a former partner, before being convicted of a second assault against another ex -girlfriend. He was released on parole in August 2023.
