The Masters 2025 LIVE: Leaderboard and tee times for Round 1 as Rory McIlroy begins quest for green jacket at Augusta

Here are some of the interesting tea times to watch the next few hours. Some big names are to get their 2025 Masters up and running

The first group is on the track and it is the twins of Davis Riley and Patton Kizzire.

On Thursday and Friday, the coverage of popular groups begins from 14:00 BST, with the full coverage from 19:30.

This weekend, the full coverage starts at 5pm to the game – with the Masters champion crowned on Sunday night.

“The thing with Augusta is because the slopes are so big and so many funnel, so many shots end up in the same places,” Michael Kim said at X after a practice round with Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson.

The Masters have no plans to create an exemption for LIV golfers, according to Fred Ridley, chairman of the tournament.

Arizona State University coach Matt Thurmond is at the Masters of this year with the upcoming Spanish amateur star Josele Ballester, but he left a red face after a fashion error forced him to separate his player during a workout at the last moment before the Major.

In the midst of all the excitement in Georgia, Thurmond makes the fierce guidelines of Augusta slip his memory and showing up to the track with shorts – a sin of seismic relationship.

Even on practice days, shorts are strictly prohibited at Augusta, something Thurmond apparently forgot, with his eyes focused exclusively on preparations before the Major.

Bad news for the opponents of Scottie Scheffler this week. The dominant world no. 1 says he feels fully prepared for a tournament for the first time this season.

Scheffler missed the beginning of the season due to surgery on a frat hand injury during the preparation of Christmas dinner, but is now completely fit and ends up in the Houston a few weeks ago.

“I would say that I feel very prepared for this golf tournament,” says Scheffler. “These are definitely the most preparations I felt all year round.
