Bell: Carney and Danielle Smith Collision Course
If liberal leader Mark Carney wins the election and remains prime minister, ignoring Alberta, he will fight Alberta Prime Minister Danielle Smith.
Columnist Rick Bell said smart money would be in a battle where Carney couldn’t hold on, so he’d better deducted it.
It seems Carney didn’t take Smith seriously, Bell said.

Where will the Party Leader be today
Liberal leader Mark Carney will put on a prime minister hat on Friday to suspend his campaign to deal with the consequences of U.S. tariffs.
Carney is expected to chair a meeting of his Cabinet Committee on Canada-U.S. relations and national security this morning.
New Democratic leader Jagmeet Singh will also be in Ottawa today, where he plans to speak at the 2025 Progress Summit at the Broadbent Institute.
Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre will hold a press conference in St. Catherines, Ontario in the morning and a rally in Windsor, Ontario in the evening.
