A woman shot in the chest in a house in South Wales died of injuries in her heart and lung, heard an investigation into the investigation.
The death of 40-year-old Joanne Penney’s death was opened and adjourned on Tuesday.
Six people were charged with her death – five with murder and another to help an offender.
In a tribute by Ms. Penney’s family was released, they said they were ‘ruined by the tragic loss of [their] Beloved Joanne “.
“She was a daughter, mother, sister and niece – loved everyone who knew her,” they added.
“Her kindness, strength and love for her family will never be forgotten.”
South Wallis Central Coroner’s Court heard that police in South Wales were called in Talbot Green, Rhondda Cynon Taf, in Talbot Green, Rhondda Cynon Taf, on Sunday, March 9.
The officer of Coroner, Beverley Morgan, told the court that when emergency services arrived, they. Penney on her back “found in the living room area” of the property in List time.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, she died at the scene.
A post-mortem gave a preliminary cause of death as a “gunshot wound to the left breast with the heart and the left lung”.
Senior Coroner Graeme Hughes adjourned the investigation to the conclusion of criminal proceedings.
He expanded his condolences to Ms Penney’s family and friends.

Jordan Mills-Smith, 32, of Pentwyn, Cardiff; Marcus Huntley, 20, of St. Mellons, Cardiff; Melissa Quailey-Dashper, 39, of Leicester; Joshua Gordon, 27, of Oadby, Leicestershire; and Tony Porter, 68, of Braunstone Town, Leicestershire, was all charged with murder.
Porter was also charged with participating in the criminal activities of a organized group.
A sixth person – Kristina Ginova, 21, of Oadby, Leicestershire – has been charged with assisting an offender.
A hearing date was set on October 20.
