The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the government regulation of the self -assembly of firearm kits that produce non -traceable weapons known as “ghost guns”.
The 7-2 decision came from justice Neil Gorshuh. Judges Thomas Alito and Clarence Thomas did not agree.
“The Weapons Control Act covers and thus allows ATF to regulate, some kits for parts of weapons and unfinished frames or receivers, including those we have discussed. Since the Court of Appeal otherwise, its decision has been abolished and the case has been left for the further production.”
