Stoked Exhibition splashes into Currumbin

He AVIVED EXHIBITION Lands AT Dust Temple, Currumbin for the Flotsam 2025 Festival, starting with a special opening night on Sunday, May 4, 6 pm to 10 pm

A celebration of surf photography, cinema and oceanic art, the exhibition shows works of local surf photographers, the late artist Peter Ramsay, and includes a “Waves of Paradise” projection, a Doco of the 90s of Gordo The Great, which will also be held the event.

The exhibition will be held throughout May 2025 and is organized by Gold Coast World Surfing Reserve Inc., organizers of the next World Conference on Surf Surf (WSCC) 2026, scheduled for February 23 to 26, 2026 at the Gold Coast campus of the University of Southern Cross.

The Stoked exhibition combines surf art with conservation messages. With powerful images and musical performances, transforms the temple of dust into a creative wave of action and celebration. Stoked is part of the Flotsam Festival, a regional regional celebration of the largest regional surf. The event leads to the 10th anniversary of GCWSR in 2026, together with the World Surf Conservation Conference, calling international attention to environmental leadership of the region.
