The CEO of Siemens, a European technology company, his wife and young children, were aboard the hiking helicopter, which was immersed in the Hudson River in New York on Thursday, leaving not surviving.
Agustin Escobar, his wife, Mers Camprobi Montal and their children – aged 4, 5 and 11 – have been identified as victims of the crash with the pilot, at 36, sources of law enforcement told ABC News.

Escobar was declared the head of the Siemens department in Spain and Southwestern Europe in 2022, according to a press release from the technology conglomerate.
Former Siemens Miguel Lopez’s Spanish hand leader, Angel Lopez, spoke high about Escobar in the publication, saying his work was “key” about the company’s success.
“With Agustín Escobar, we have the best possible heir to lead the company in Spain from now on. In recent years, his work has been crucial for Siemens’ success in mobility and transport,” Lopez said.
The pilot’s identity flying that helicopters in New York had not yet been released.
The family visits New York from Barcelona, Spain, two Spanish officials told ABC News.
The National Transport Safety Council is investigating what has led to the deadly incident.

The crash happened at 15:17 off the coast of River Drive in Hobken, New Jersey, just over 15 minutes after leaving the wall St. Heliport, staff said during a briefing on the press on Thursday. The helicopter reached the George Washington Bridge before turning south and collapsed, employees said.
“Our hearts come to the family and those on board,” New York Mayor Eric Adams said during a briefing.
Chopper – identified by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Bell 206 helicopter – was on its sixth flight of the day. He was found upside down in the 50 degree water when rescuers arrived at the scene, officials said.
