The Securities and Exchange Commission continues its trial against Elon Musk, which was filed during the Biden administration.
According to a lawsuit on Monday, the technological billionaire and the leader of the Ministry of Efficiency of the Government agreed to respond to the case, which accuses him of misleading investors when he bought millions of dollars in shares on Twitter in 2022 before the company was acquired.
SEC brought the case against Musk on January 14th in the declining days of the Biden administration, and a SEC representative served Musk with a complaint and summoning this month – although Musk disputes the validity of the service.
Under the terms of the agreement, Musk’s attorneys will respond to the complaint until June 6 in anticipation of approval by the court.
“The countries respectfully claim that this compromise is reasonable and will maintain judicial resources,” the submission said.

The filing of Monday marks the first time the Musk is raised by the complaint is raised by each of the sides.
Musk’s lawyers could not be reached immediately for comment by ABC News.
