Sean “Diddy” Combs did not plead guilty to additional charges of sex trafficking and transportation to participate in prostitution, which was added to him earlier in April.
The new allegations take the total number of criminal charges against the rap mogul to five – following the three original scores, which also includes a conspiracy filed in September.
Combs55, already pleaded not guilty to the original charges and strictly denied all allegations against him.
He appeared in court on Monday to enter his additional plea in front of US district judge Arun Surunian in Manhattan, New York.
Combs, with gray hair and a kid and a brown prison clothing over a white thermal shirt, were more subdued than in previous hearings.
Today’s trial also said that Coms’ lawyers indicated that they could request a two -week adjournment for his trial, scheduled for May, if they did not receive certain critical testimony from prosecutors.
Combs’s attorney, Teny Geragos, said the defense was not sent 200,000 email between the rapper and one of the suspected victims.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Christie Slavik said prosecutors are against any delay and accused Combs’s advocates of using ‘gamesmanhip’ to postpone the hearing.
Judge Subramanian exhorted the defense, saying: “We are on a freight train that is fast in the direction of the trial, if you want an adjournment, you must make the application within the next forty-eight hours.”
Both sides will be in court again on Friday for another hearing.
Advocates for Combs said before: “These are not new allegations or new accusers. These are the same individuals … involved in consensual relationships.”
Prosecutors claim that the rapper and producer used his businessman to sexually abuse women between 2004 and 2024.
He was accused of organizing ‘freak -out’ – who allegedly caused women and male sex workers to sexual actions with drugs.
Combs has denied the allegations of offense, saying that all relationships and sexual encounters are consensual.
His trial will begin on May 5, with the choice of the jury that is expected to last about a week before the opening statements, which will begin on May 12.
