The biggest bilby (Lagoistis) is one of the most emblematic animals but at risk of Australia, and the last species of surviving Bilby. Once found in 70% of Australia, its rank has hired in more than 80% since European colonization.

Today, these nocturnal marsupials, still culturally significant for many indigenous peoples, are restricted to remote deserts. They face a continuous threat of extinction.
