The Sanfl season begins tonight with the prime ministers of 2024 Glenelg facing Port Adelaide Mappies in Alberton Oval, like Tigres They warn that they have a hungry harvest of young players who arrive along the rank.

Allen said it was essential that Sanfl clubs develop young talents and that “they accelerate in their game plan as quickly as possible.”

“Many players are needed in each season … and the more boys can be ready for the League, the better place where you will be.
“But every year is a new one … We have been very successful, but now it is in the past and, unfortunately, it doesn’t count this season at all.”
On Saturday afternoon you will see Sturt play southern Adelaide in Noarlunga Downs, West Adelaide Play Adelaide in Richmond and the Central District Play Woodville-West Torrens in Elizabeth.
Last year’s great finalists, Norwood, will receive North Adelaide on Saturday night in a televised game, since the Sanfl fills the television vacuum left by the AFL agreement with Foxtel and Kayo to end the free broadcasts live on Saturday.

During the AFL meeting round in fifteen days, the men’s state sides of Sanfl and VFL will face in Tanunda on Saturday, April 12, while Friday night in Alberton Oval, the respective sides of the two women will be played for the first time.

The next Easter weekend will see a game on Thursday night between Sturt and Norwood, and four games played on Good Friday, which Sanfl described as a “marquee schedule.”
Then, just a week later, on Anzac, Glenelg and Norwood day, which attracted a multitude of more than 35,000 to the grand finale in September, they will play in the traditional rematch.
Sanfl’s head of football operations Sean Toohey said it was an “intriguing” start for the Sanfl season.
