The American golfer Ryan McCormick has endured a challenging moment in the United States development tour this year, so he decided to control his emotions when closing his mouth.

McCormick made the peculiar movement in this week’s tournament at Landings Golf and Athletic Club in Savannah, Georgia.

“I have had not so fun this year in the golf course. Quite angry and angry,” McCormick told the social media channels of the tour.

“So I thought I had tried many things, and I thought I would shut up. So I put an adhesive tape on my mouth.”

Was it worked?

Not judged for your score. After opening with a 1 above 73, he published a 72 in the second round and the cut was lost.

McCormick, who had a year on the PGA tour in 2024, said he tried other methods to improve his game, such as reading books and talking to people.

But nothing seems to work for the 33 -year -old, who became a professional in 2014.

“I’ve run out of ideas and I thought about the film a couple of weeks ago,” McCormick said.

“So unfortunately he reduced to that today. I expected me to help me. I can’t say that I did or not.”

A reason for the extraordinary movement was that McCormick said he did not want to create a negative experience for his playmates.

“Passing a difficult time, and that was my solution today,” he said.
