London – Russia started without long distance drones in Ukraine on Monday night and on Tuesday morning, the Air Force of Ukraine said, celebrating the first night of December 2024, in which zero such a craft is directed to the country.
The Air Force of Ukraine reported two missiles fired in the southern area of the Perstence, and both were removed. The Air Force did not send any drone warnings at night.
The Air Force also said Russia attacked the front line communities in the attachment with five managed bombs on Monday night, killing one person and injuring five others.
The absence of dronper attacking was a remarkable departure from recent weeks, in which Russia began mass attacks on drones – often from more than 100 drones overnight – against Ukrainian cities.

“There were no strikes on the BLG,” Andri Kovalenko-Governor of the Dynformation Center, operating as part of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine-drank on Telegram. “We are watching the situation, but it still doesn’t mean anything.”
Both Kiev and Moscow continue to launch mass cross-border drones in recent months, despite US efforts to facilitate the termination and possible peace deal to end Russia’s 3-year invasion of Russia in its neighbor.
Last week, all three parties – the US, Ukraine and Russia – said they agreed to pause all attacks in the Black Sea and freeze strokes on energy infrastructure. Both Kyiv and Moscow have since accused the other of breaking the break in energy attacks.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday that its forces were overthrowing three Ukrainian drones overnight over the territory of its Western region of Bryansk. The ministry also claims that Ukrainian drones are aimed at energy facilities twice in the previous 24 hours.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrius Sibiha has also accused Russia of attacking energy infrastructure, telling reporters on Monday that a strike in a facility in the southern area of Herson left 45,000 inhabitants without power.
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski repeatedly quotes Russia’s almost nightly bombing as proof that Russian President Vladimir Putin has no real interest in ending fire and peace proposed by President Donald Trump and his administration.
On a Sunday evening video, Zelenskyy reported “more strikes and firing” in seven Ukrainian regions. “The geography and brutality of Russian strikes, not only occasionally, but literally every day and night show that Putin cannot be interested in less than diplomacy,” he said.
“There has been a proposal in the United States for several weeks for unconditional cessation,” Zelenski added. “And almost every day, in response to this proposal, there are Russian drones, bombs, artillery firing and ballistic strikes.”

In recent days, Trump has hinted at Moscow’s powerlessness, telling reporters that he was “very angry” to Putin after the Russian leader again criticized Zelenski and called for his removal in favor of a transitional government.
Trump added that he would consider applying new sanctions on the lucrative oil export to Russia and on all oils buying oil. China and India are among the most significant customers for Russian petroleum products.
Later, the president told Air Force One reporters that his administration was making significant progress to end war. Asked about his relationship with Putin, Trump replied, “I don’t think he’ll return to his word.”
Asked if there was a deadline to agree to the cessation of fire, Trump suggested that there was a “psychological period”.
He added, “If I think they are tapping us, I will not enjoy it.”
