The Republicans were on the Capitol hill on Monday night as they avoided or laughed at the exclusive report by ABC News that President Donald Trump was considering accepting a luxury aircraft as a gift from the Catarian government to use as One Air Force.
While several senators avoided questions or joked, few were ready to give full protection against the offered gift.
Like most Republicans, Senator Cynthia Lummis, R-WYO., Initially said he didn’t know enough about the story to comment, but called it “interesting.”
When ABC News told her that Trump intends to use the talented aircraft like Air Force One, she burst into laughter. “It can make me look at the appropriateness of this? Yes,” she said.
Asked if there were concerns about his use as Air Force One, she exploded to laugh and said, “Well, better to sweep this plane from the front to the back.”

Senator Josh Hooley, R-Mo., Made his own comment on the language in the cheek when he was asked about security concerns.
“Well, I think it would be better if it were a big, beautiful plane made in the United States,” he said.
Most John Tun leader said he needed more information about the reports before he could make an appropriate evaluation. “I don’t know enough about it yet and I don’t know that it is – I don’t know if there is any offer. I’m sure if we have more information, we will arrange it,” Tun said.
House spokesman Mike Johnson declined to comment, saying that there was not enough information. “I’m not going to comment on it,” Johnson said, adding, “I didn’t see all the details about it.”
Asked about the price of a potential gift-a clipping $ 400 million, the Sanator John Kennedy, R-LA., Forward the problem.
