Rep. Sarah McBride misgendered by Republican colleague during committee hearing

Reporter Sarah McBride, D-Del., The first transsexual person elected in the congress continues to face attacks by their republican counterparts who have repeatedly misled her on the floor of the home and in the hearing of the committee.

On Tuesday, this happened again during the meeting of the Homefront Sub -Submission at the House.

Reporter Keith himself, P-Texas, chairman of the House of Foreign Affairs of the Chamber in Europe, presented McBride, saying: “Now I recognize a representative from Delaware: Mr. McBride.”

Then McBride replied, “Thank you, Madame President,” hitting back into himself.

However, when McBride began his interrogation line, the representative was Kitting, D-Mass., The member of the subcommittee ranking, intervened.

– D -H Chair, could you repeat your introduction again, please? he asked.

Self -arguing without improving that it follows the “floor standard of the house”.

Kitting was growing by himself and begging him to repeat McBride’s introduction. However, it doubled.

“I will.

McBride was sitting there when he arose back between the chairman and the member of the ranking.

– G -H President, you are in order. G -H President, do you have no decency? Kitting said.

“We will continue this hearing,” replied on his own, trying to move the commission’s hearing.

“You will not continue with me unless you enter a properly selected representative in the right way,” Kitting said.

However, I have not yet changed its rhetoric. He recently called on the hearing to be postponed.

This is not the first time McBride has been misled or has been the center of change in politics as it is related to transgender people.

Before McBride swore to office, members of the Republicans worked to ban transgender women from using women’s toilets in the United States.

At the end of November, home speaker Mike Johnson, R-LA, announced as a policy that transgender women cannot use women’s toilets in Capitol and in the office buildings of the home, as well as in changing rooms and changing rooms.

“It is important to note that each members’ office has his own private toilet, and Unisex toilets are accessible throughout the Capitol,” Johnson says in a statement in which he announced politics. “Women deserve the only spaces of women.”

Then, before speaking on the first floor on February 8, McBride was misled by a reporter Mary Miller, R-H.

“The chairman recognizes a gentleman from Delaware, Mr. McBride,” Miller said.

ABC News turned to McBride’s office for comment.
