Qantas flight between Sydney, Perth circles back to airport after technical issue reported on-board


A quantas flight that travels from Sydney to Perth has been based on minutes after takeoff after an emergency on board.

QF643 had to start from the Sydney airport around 8.20 in the morning on Monday.

After a delay of 18 minutes, the plane took off, just to return to Earth minutes later.

Aviation News Outlet Aviationorsource reports that the flight crew transmitted a “7700 code” after takeoff, indicating an emergency aboard the aircraft.

A spokesman for Qantas told the Australian that he had been reported a technical problem, which led to the plane that landed at Sydney airport.

Qantas has been contacted to comment.
