PM stands with Canadian cafe owner on Vegemite dispute

Leighton Walters, who runs an Australian -style coffee in Toronto, Canada, said that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency had ordered him to stop selling iconic Australian food because he has added vitamin B, in violation of the regulations.

Now Anthony Albanese has intervened in the dispute, today saying “I am with the owner of the Australian coffee.”

“I can confirm here today that I am pro-vengemita, and in fact, I actually put a lot of vegemit in my toast when I ate bread,” Albanese said.

“I love Vegemite, it’s a good thing.”

Then, the prime minister had an excavation to the British cousin of Vegemite Marite, who apparently escaped from Canada’s food laws.

“It is quite strange that they are letting Marite in, it is garbage, frankly.”

“Let’s be clear here, pro-vegemita, anti-market. That is my position.”

The Stoush first emerged in January when the Walters coffee owner was told that Vegemite did not comply with Canadian food regulations.

In a publication on social networks last Friday, Walters said that some Canadian retailers were still allowed to sell the propagation.

“Although Amazon and the main grocery stores continue to benefit from the sale of Vegemite and similar products such as Marmite, for some reason, our genuinely Australian/Canadian coffee shops that offer a healthy portion of home away from the home, apparently it is worth noting,” he said.

“I do not hope that Canadians worry about Vegemite, I know it is an acquired taste, but the beginning and the double standard make no sense to me, and it does not seem correct.

“As someone born with a birth defect, this is deeply personal.

“Vegemite has a high content of B vitamins and folic acid, which helps minimize the probability that babies will be born with conditions such as mine and live the pain that my family and I have throughout my life so far.”

Despite this contradiction, the Canadian food authority told Canada CBC that the vitamins added in Vegemite made it inevable for sale.
