A powerful magnitude 7.7 earthquake influenced much of Southeast Asia on Friday, increasing casualties and leveled buildings from Myanmar to Thailand.
Even Bangkok, about 600 miles from the epicenter in Mandalay, Myanmar, the second largest city of the country, caused damage to the earthquake, including the collapse of a skyscraper in the process of construction.
