Two Israeli missiles have reached a building inside a main hospital in Gaza, destroying the emergency and reception department and damaging other structures, according to doctors, in a strike, according to Israel, it was against the fighters of Hamas that exploit the facilities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Palestine and Hamas condemned the attack on Al-Ahli and said in a statement that Israel was destroying the Gaza health system.
Israel says that Hamas systematically exploits civil structures, including hospitals, which the militant group denies.
The Israeli forces have carried out numerous raids in medical facilities in the enclave.
In October 2023, Hamas blamed a deadly explosion in a parking lot in the Al-Ahli hospital complex in an Israeli air strike.
An investigation by Human Rights Watch then concluded that the explosion of 2023 was probably caused by a failed Palestinian rockets.
Sunday’s strikes occurred hours after the leaders of the Hamas group visited Cairo to hold conversations with Egyptian mediators about saving the stagnant Fire Agreement.
Egypt, Qatar and the United States have intensified efforts to close the gaps between Hamas and Israel.
The Baptist Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East said in a statement that 20 minutes before the attack on the hospital, the Israeli army ordered all patients, employees and displaced people to evacuate the facilities.
He said the two strikes destroyed the two -story genetic laboratory, damaged the pharmacy buildings and the emergency department and caused collateral damage to the surrounding structures, including the building of the Church of San Philip.
“The diocese of Jerusalem is horrified, but the bombardment of the hospital is now for the fifth time since the beginning of the war in 2023, and this time it was Ramos Sunday morning and the beginning of Holy Week,” said the Baptist Church.
“We call on all governments and goodwill people who intervene to stop all kinds of attacks against medical and humanitarian institutions,” he said in a statement.
The separated strikes in the enclave on Sunday killed at least 10 Palestinians, including the head of a police station in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the enclave directed by Hamas, according to the authorities of Hamas Media and the local health.
At least eight more people, including a woman, were killed further north, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.
