Pakistan battery fined for finding foulkes


Pakistan Allrounder Khushdil Shah was penalized for finding the Black Caps Zak Foulkes player during the first T20 International between the two sides in Christchurs on Sunday.

Shah was fined 50 % of his starting rates for violating ICC’s Code of Conduct.

Khushdil also received three demerit points. It was your first offense over a 24 -month period.

He was found in violation of Article 2.12 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which refers to “Improper Physical Contact with a player support for the player, referee, referee or anyone else (including a spectator during an international match).”

The incident happened during the eighth place of the Pakistan entries, when Khushdil broke into the bottom of player Zak Foulkes.

The law was classified as “inappropriate physical contact with a high degree of strength” and was considered “reckless, negligent and avoidable.”

It was a forgettable tour for Pakistan on Sunday, as they were packed by only 91 in Salman Ali Agha’s first match as full -time T20 captain.

Khushdil was the top scorer with 32.

New Zealand crossed the 11 -overs victory for the loss of a postage.

The second game in the five -match series is in Dunedin today, although there are concerns that the weather cannot play ball.
