Jordan Westburg scored two home runs in his first multiplayer game of his career, defeating the Baltimore Orioles 9-5 on Saturday against the Baltimore Orioles.
Colton Cowser and Westburg made home runs in the first inning of the first Baltimore (2-1) lead (2-1), before Westburg scored the final result of the game in the seventh inning.
Gary Sanchez was in the fourth sacrifice flight, a four-inning three-game winning streak with Ramon Urias. Cedric Mullins singled the fifth runner for the Orioles with 8-4 in Heston Kjerstad’s Sac Fly.
Dean Kremer (1-0) beat six games but gave up five runs with five hits and two walks in five 1/3 innings. Rescuers Keegan Akin, Yennier Cano, Gregory Soto, Seranthony Dominguez and Felix Bautista retained the victory.
Andres Gimenez’s two home runs in the third inning put Toronto (1-2) in a 4-2 lead. Anthony Santander

Max Scherzer left the game with a soreness in the right latitude after three innings. He had an 80-shot limit, made his first start with the Blue Jays but shot only 45, giving up two hits and hitting one.
Richard Lovelady (0-1), Jacob Barnes, Chad Green, Yimi Garcia and Jeff Hoffman came out of the bullpen in Toronto. Lovelady, Barnes and Green gave up seven runs.
Important points
Orioles: Scherzer seems to have settled down after giving up two early home runs to Cowser and Westburg. But when he left the game after three innings, Baltimore’s batsman was full of advantages, sending a total of 14 bats into the plates in the fourth and fifth innings, wreaking through Toronto’s stunning bullpen.
Blue Jays: Shortstop Bo Bichette won two runs on the plate with a 4-4 run, even though his teammates were still in the scoring position three times. This performance averaged 0.500 in just three games, a promising start to his season with a calf serving and finger fracture for most of last year.
Critical moments
Lovelady has a 0-2 stat for Urias, the base loaded, but it was twice in fifth place. His 91.5 mph four-hole fastball was a few inches lower than the previous course, and Urias was not fooled, which made the line scream to the right field to clear the base and break the game in Baltimore.
Key statistics
Gimenez is known for his defense, not for batting, and he only has two home runs this year. Last season, it took him 38 games to win two games from the Cleveland Guardians and completed nine games with 152 games.
