On the Road: Spring is for the birds


Like I thought, the ice broke up at the southern end of McGregor, where there were a few birds too. Canadian geese of course – they are everywhere – and finally there are a few swans. They came out on the edge of the ice so I couldn’t tell if they were trumpeters or tundra, but definitely swans. Among them are Wigeons and Pintails.
