Numerous “home” explosive devices were discovered by a citizen walking near a park outside Dallas, according to authorities.

The man was in a wooded area near Wije Park in Garland, when around 11:30 Sunday, they saw an open suitcase and objects scattered near it – including what looked like explosives, a Garland police station said.

Garland is about 20 miles northeast of Dallas.

The Garland Police Bomb Department and the FBI bomb technicians rushed to the scene and found that “there are many home explosive devices live,” police said.

“The bomb technicians worked during the day and night to make every non -working device safe,” a police statement said on Monday.

No injuries have been reported.

Police said the authorities are still working to establish where the devices and the intention of the suspect came from.

Anyone who has information is urged to call the Garland Police Department on 972-485-4840 or for the crimes of Garland’s crimes on 972-272-Consciousness (8477). Garland Crime Stopers offers a prize of up to $ 5,000, police said.
