Nicholas Prosper: Teen who murdered family ‘planned on killing at least 30 schoolchildren’ | UK News

A teenager who was obsessed with mass murders who killed three members of his family traveled to his old elementary school when he was arrested.

Nicholas Prosper, 19, shot his mother Juliana Falcon, 48, sister Giselle, 13, and shot and stabbed his brother Kyle, 16, on September 13 last year in Luton in Luton.

But he did not intend to stop there, according to prosecutor Timothy Cray KC, who told Luton Crown Court that he had prepared the murders ‘months’ and wanted to kill at least 30 schoolchildren.

“His planning was cold, deliberate and without sympathy or emotion to the actual victims or potential victims,” he said, talking about Prosper’s sentencing.

However, his ‘headquarters’ was to ‘reach a massive notoriousness as a mass murderer’, Mr Cray added, specifically to ‘mimic and even exceed other mass killers around the world’.

“He has made in-depth internet research on shooting in the United States, Norway, Australia and New Zealand,” he said.

“He understood that his plans, if realized, would bring about the largest number of deaths in a school or other mass shooting in the United Kingdom and possibly even in the United States of America.”

The investigation indicates that the defendant “acted alone”, he added, and “his plans did not arise from any political or ideological matter”.

Horrible murders

Prosper never reached Catholic Primary School St Joseph, who was three -quarters of his home, while police arrested him after escaping to a wooded area.

After leaving, officers broke his family at about 05.50 hours after a call from a neighbor.

There, the court heard that they found Prosper’s little sister under a dining room in the living room, “as if trying to hide there”.

His mother and brother – stabbed more than 100 times – were both found in the hallway.

He planned to kill his family in their sleep, but when his mother realized that something was wrong and challenged him, it led to “an extensive violent struggle”.

After the heinous and noisy attack on his family members, Prosper knew that the police would be on their way and that he had to leave three hours earlier than he expected.

The teenager was then arrested by a passing police patrol as he walked along a residence in Luton.

He hid the gun and cartridges in the area.

Prosper acknowledged their murders during a hearing last month, as well as a gun without a certificate, owning a gun with the aim of jeopardizing the life and possession of a kitchen knife in a public place.

The sentencing trial continues.
