Hackman’s death was linked to heart disease with Alzheimer’s disease that contributed.
The authorities linked Arakawa’s death with Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, a rare but potentially deadly disease spread by infected rodent droppings.
Hackman’s pacemakers showed an abnormal heart rate on February 18, the day he probably died, Jarrell said.
While there is no reliable way of knowing with certainty when each one died, all the signs point to their deaths with a week of difference, said Jarrell.
Hackman’s body was found at the entrance of the house, and Arakawa’s body was found in a bathroom.
