A mother and her two young daughters for a walk died after a horrific car accident in New York, allegedly caused by a woman who was driving with a suspended license.
The woman’s four -year -old son was also beaten during the incident and was taken to hospital in critical condition. Police said 10 people were injured in total.
The incident happened at about 1pm on Saturday in the Midwood area of Brooklyn, after a Toyota Camry was beaten by a blue Audi A3 on a set of lights, according to Jessica Tisch, commissioner of the NYPD.
The impact of the accident caused the Toyota to be pushed aside, before the second vehicle crashed into the family-the 35-year-old woman, her two daughters, eight and six, and the young boy and overturned.
“The bang I heard was like an earthquake,” said a witness The New York Post. “It went on a good 30 seconds. It felt like the world had stopped for that second time. ‘
According to the Mail, The man of the dead woman was at home at their baby child when the accident occurred, and was informed by a neighbor about the tragedy.
The driver was identified as 32-year-old Miriam Yarimi, who had to be cut out of her vehicle after the collision.
It was later confirmed that Yarimi was driving on a suspended license at the time of the collision. She was also taken to hospital and is in stable condition, Tisch said at a press conference on Saturday afternoon.
She added that the light order at the time of the incident was not yet known and that speed was “definitely a factor.” Yarimi was also breathed at the scene.
