Surf Azardous warnings remain in place for a large section of the NSW coast today, since residents begin to clean from the beating by evil waves.
A low pressure system in the South Sea of Tasman is generating large and powerful waves for parts of the NSW coast.
The Meteorology Office says that very heavy waves can cause localized damage and coastal erosion along the coast between Jervis Bay, south of Sydney, and seal rocks on the north coast of the north.
Yesterday there was a 6m wave height in Eden on the southern coast of NSW, since many coastal areas were hit.
These conditions captured many people, with people in the coastal suburbs of Sydney ignoring the closed beaches and coastal walks.
In at Dolls Point in the south of the city, the rough waters sent broken pavements and sand to the front courtyards. SES workers were called to help with the defenses of sand sacks for properties.
The office today issued a dangerous surf warning for Sydney, Byron, Coffs, Macquarie, Hunter, Illawarra, Batemans and Eden Coasts.
There is also a marine wind warning for Lllawarra, Batemans and Eden Coasts.
“Wave and wave conditions are expected to be dangerous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, navigation and swimming in the following areas,” he said.
The NSW marine police area command is urging people to leave the sea and avoid walking near the areas exposed to the waves.
Mariners who cross the bars of shallow waters and oceans should consider changing or delaying their trip.
The ships that are already in the water must transport the appropriate safety equipment, including life vests. The teams must log in with their local marine rescue radio base.
The harmful surfing conditions are expected to relieve this afternoon.
