The viral video was uploaded to X on Saturday (March 22) as part of Mark Carney’s “Elbows Up” campaign. The movement, which stems from a hockey period, aims to return to President Donald Trump’s rates and remarks on the annexation of Canada.
In the video, Carney Myers asks about Canadian culture before the actor asks, “Will there always be a Canada?”
“There will always be a Canada,” the prime minister responds.
Carney announced on Sunday that a national election will be held on April 28.
