A teenager and a man were accused after a nine -year -old boy was murdered when he was accidentally shot in the neck on a rural property.
The emergency services were called to a property in Windelama, south of the city of Goulburn de Nueva Wales del Sur, around 11.20 in the morning on Sunday.
Local officers were told that a child had been injured after a firearm shot.
The paramedics treated the nine -year -old for serious neck injuries, but died in the place.
Arrests made after the incident
The police established an attack force to investigate the incident and then arrested a 14 -year -old boy and a 33 -year -old man.
The teenager was accused of having an unauthorized firearm, the researchers said on Monday.
He was awarded a conditional bond to appear before a Children’s Court on Thursday.
The man was accused of allowing an unauthorized person to have a firearm and could not maintain a firearm safely.
It must appear before the local court of Goulburn on May 14.
