A man pleaded guilty to the murder of two women and tried to kill two other people in a knife in Milton Keynes on Christmas Day.
Jazwell Brown, 49, attacked Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24, at an address in Santa Cruz Avenue, Bletchley, on December 25 last year.
Brown also tried to kill Bradley Latter, 29, as well as a teenage boy during the incident.
He admitted to the offenses during a short trial at the Luton Crown Court on Tuesday.
Bretchley also pleaded guilty to a knife in a public place and caused unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, a Bull terrier of Staffordshire.

Ms Pearson and Ms. Grant died at the scene after emergency personnel were warned at about 6:30 pm, while the lord of the latter and the boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Thames Valley police initially said the dog injured in the attack died, but the power later confirmed that the pet survived.

Defense agent Charles Miskin KC said Brown repented of his actions and was “very sorry”.
Mr. Justice Kerr arrested the defendant before sentencing on May 22.
Celia Mardon, of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), said: “It was an inexplicable attack that caused irreversible damage – to rob two women of their lives and seriously injuring two others.
“The strength of the case of the prosecution, with a compelling witness, CCTV and forensic evidence, gave Jazwell Brown little choice but to admit his guilt, and we are glad that those affected by this tragic event were spared the process of a trial.
“Although we may never know why Brown committed such senseless violence, we must remember the two lives that were unnecessarily lost.
“Our thoughts remain with the loved ones of Joanne and Tehna, and we hope that the result of today offers some closure.”
