Toronto police said a man in his 40s was shot dead in Etobycock Thursday night.
It happened around 10:40 p.m. on Ocean Parade Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard west.
The victim was taken to the hospital and suffered inanimate injuries.
There is currently no suspicious information.
Officials also responded to a separate shooting near East Shopping Centre and Queensway.
Police said the shooting was fired at around 10:11 p.m., which damaged a vehicle.
No one was injured.
A suspect was described as a man in his 20s dressed in all black and fled an unknown vehicle.
