Man in court on murder charge after deadly house fire


A man will face the Court accused of murder for domestic violence and fire caused by a fire of the fatal house in a semi-rural property.

The house in Geham, north of Towoomba, increased the flames just before 3 am on Tuesday.

A body was later found within the property, but the police have not yet formally identified since forensic evidence is still underway.

However, a Queensland police spokesman confirmed that a woman who lived in the property did not have an account.

A 45 -year -old Geham man was accused of murder and fire related to domestic violence.

It is due to the Court of Magistrates Face Towoomba on Wednesday.

Superintendent George Marchesini revealed that two children also lived in the house, but both were “safe and well” after the fire.

“There was no hospitalization of children and everything I could say at this time, (Es) are young children inside that house,” journalists told journalists in the afternoon.

The images of the property showed that the roof of the house had yielded and the structure destroyed by the flames.
