The images show a man talking to a woman outside a store in Young Street in Frankston, around the 1 PM of March 8, when a third man who carries a metal post is approached.
The third man hit a 50 -year -old Sandhurst man on his face with the post.
The Ke PT walking towards Park Lane after the attack.
It is not known by the victim.
The 50 -year -old man was taken to the hospital with serious but not fatal injuries.
