According to law enforcement, a man drove his car to protesters outside a Tesla dealership in Palm Beach County, Florida, but did not hurt anyone who gathered over the weekend against billionaire Elon Musk and President Donald Trump.
The planned protests are one of a protests by Tesla-related businesses led by Musk, Musk, in response to billionaires’ cooperation with the Trump administration in cutting federal funds and labor.
Attacks on property logos carrying the Elon Musk electric vehicle company logo are emerging in the United States and overseas. Several other violence include a fire in Seattle and a shooting at a Tesla dealership in Oregon.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, protests were interrupted when Andrew Dutil drove the vehicle to the sidewalk at a slow speed, forcing people to climb up the obstacles to avoid being hit.
Duterte was arrested and faces assault charges, according to court records. The attorney who can speak on behalf of Dutal was not immediately listed in the court record.
Palm Beach County is also home to the Mar-A-Lago resort, which the president calls “the center of the universe” on social media.
Trump and Musk began to tear down government agencies and programs through the government efficiency department and lay off employees in the name of eliminating government waste, fraud and abuse.
